Dr. Stolarczuk was born and raised in Chicago. She received her Bachelor's degree in Chemistry at the University of Illinois, Urbana Champaign. She received her Doctorate in Optometry at the Illinois College of Optometry. She then completed a residency sponsored by the University of California Berkeley School of Optometry at the San Francisco VA Medical Center. She has worked for West Coast Retina performing ultrasound on patients with ocular melanoma and was involved in a number of national studies researching various treatments for age-related and myopic macular degeneration and diabetic eye disease.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, hiking, biking, swimming, yoga, movies, and reading.
